Thank you for your interest in participating in the Traveling Diary™ project. Please read the following guidelines for instructions on participating in the project and our community Terms of Use. We reserve the right to update our Terms of Use on an as-needed basis.

We will need your mailing address and phone number in order to communicate with you and to mail the Traveling Diary™ to you. Your participation requires that you fully accept the guidelines and Terms of Use.

1.    When you receive the diary, you are to have the diary no longer than three (3) days (72 hours) before mailing it via local post office to the address we provide you. You are solely responsible for all fees and costs associated with participating in the Traveling Diary™ project.

2.    Upon receiving the Traveling Diary™, send a photo to info@thetravelingdiarytour.com of the diary confirming receipt. By your participation, you are consenting to our use of all submitted media, images, and submission language and authorizing our broad and unlimited use of these materials including, but not limited to publishing your submission and including the submission on merchandising. You understand that you will not be compensated for your participation and that all intellectual property rights of material submitted to the Traveling Diary™ tour shall belong to the Traveling Diary™. By participating in the Traveling Diary™ tour, you agree to our Terms of Use.

3.    When you mail the diary to the next participant’s address, please send a confirmation of the mailing to community@thetravelingdiarytour.com in order for our team to be aware that the Traveling Diary™ is on its way to the next participant. We will use your notice confirmation to send the next participant a confirmation email. A clear picture of the mailing receipt is sufficient for this purpose.

4.    By participating in the Traveling Diary™ tour, you agree to postage costs related to mailing the diary via local post to the next recipient located in your country or outside of your country. You are to only use the address of the next recipient for mailing the Traveling Diary™. The use or sharing of personal information of members of the community is strictly forbidden.

5.   You may choose to remain anonymous upon entering your diary information by placing an “X” above each page where you write your submission. Our team will make best efforts to respect your privacy and anonymity.
